Jiangheng Valve Successfully Completes the 2023 Funing County Mayor’s Quality Award On-Site Evaluation

On May 16, following the preliminary steps of application submission, qualification review, and document evaluation, Jiangsu Jiangheng Valve Co., Ltd. successfully underwent the on-site evaluation phase for the “Funing County Mayor’s Quality Award.” Senior company leadership and department heads participated in this significant evaluation session.

At the evaluation meeting, Deputy General Manager Cao Zhiguo warmly welcomed the evaluation experts on behalf of Jiangheng Valve. He presented an overview of the company, focusing on key aspects such as organizational structure, leadership, strategy, and results. Technical Manager Guo Jianhui shared a quality improvement case study on enhancing the pressure testing pass rate of triple-eccentric metal-seated butterfly valves. The session also included a closed-book test on the fundamentals of excellence performance management and a guided tour of the company’s production facilities.

In the afternoon, the evaluation experts divided into three groups to conduct in-depth assessments through department presentations, document reviews, and discussions. The experts evaluated Jiangheng Valve’s adoption of excellence performance practices and held interactive sessions with middle management and frontline employees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s overall management capabilities and employee satisfaction.

Based on the “Criteria for Performance Excellence” and the accompanying implementation guidelines, the evaluation team analyzed and assessed Jiangheng Valve’s strengths and opportunities for improvement. Executive Deputy General Manager Zhou expressed heartfelt gratitude to the experts for their professional evaluation and constructive feedback. He emphasized that Jiangheng Valve would take this evaluation as an opportunity to adhere strictly to the requirements of the excellence performance criteria, further enhance its quality and brand development, and improve production and operations.
