To actively implement the principle of “prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting,” Jiangheng Valve recently conducted a fire safety emergency drill. This initiative aimed to enhance risk awareness, improve self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities during emergencies, and strengthen skills in evacuation and the correct use of firefighting equipment. The exercise also tested the company’s emergency response mechanisms, improving the practicality and operability of its emergency plans.
Under the meticulous planning and leadership of General Manager Zhou and the guidance of the command team, all departments collaborated seamlessly to execute an organized and effective drill. This activity played a vital role in raising employees’ safety awareness, enhancing emergency response capabilities, and improving the company’s overall emergency management standards.
Before the drill, Jiangheng Valve organized a comprehensive fire safety training session for all employees. The session covered topics such as causes of fire, preventive measures, escape routes, and firefighting techniques, laying a solid foundation for the hands-on exercise.
During the simulation of a fire incident, the emergency plan was immediately activated. Teams, including the firefighting group, evacuation and alert group, communications group, coordination group, and emergency vehicle support group, quickly took their positions and followed the predefined procedures.
•The communications group promptly reported the fire and coordinated external rescue efforts.
•The evacuation and alert group guided employees to evacuate along designated routes in an orderly manner.
•The coordination group managed resource allocation and maintained order at the site.
•The firefighting group used fire extinguishers to suppress the simulated blaze.
Following the drill, a summary meeting was held to evaluate the performance of each stage, gather employee feedback, and identify lessons learned. Improvement measures were proposed to address any identified shortcomings.
Looking ahead, Jiangheng Valve will remain committed to the principle of “prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting.” The company will continue to refine its emergency response systems, strengthen fire safety education and training for employees, and conduct regular emergency drills. These efforts aim to minimize risks, reduce potential losses, and ensure the safe and sustainable development of the company.
